Due to the climate and to the winemaker`s care, this wine has acquired unique qualities. The must was obtained from grapes picked at the end of the harvest, by gravitational method (no compression) and then fermented for a period of over 15 days in the traditional way. After winemaking process, the wine was refined in oak barrels for 12 months, followed by aging in bottle to perfect the typical varietal bouquet.
Deep red in color with ripe black cherry and blackberry flavours with fine oak notes. The flavor is reminiscent of blackcurrant and blackberry along with natural tannins from wine and oak barrels creates a long and fruity aftertaste. This wine was aged in American oak barrels for one year which has perfect quality of this wine. Has a high potential for aging in bottle.
